Sudheer and others had gone to the Town to buy groceries, we were playing around the beach while waiting for them. An isolated beach, calm sea shore, sun was hiding behind the clouds over the horizon. Amazing memories

Description about the Image: This probably was BASC’s first photography tour a national park. 12 enthusiastic photographers set out to capture some big cats but had to be content with capturing lots and lots of Spotted Deer, a herd of Elephants, Langurs and other wildlife.
However the second day turned out to be fruitful when we visited Ranganathittu bird sanctuary.
The bird in this image is Red Wattled Lapwing and is not so uncommon.

Description about the Image: She refused to give me a good pose. First she played dead in thick twigs and then moved upwards into the foliage. This is the best I could manage.
It was possible for me to handle the snake and place her to get a better composition but I chose not to disturb her.
